ABOUT
Tracy Munson, MPA is a blue-haired, wine-drinking, nature-loving, bunny-hugging, Canadian fine art landscape and wildlife photographer. While living in Toronto, Tracy took every opportunity to escape the city and her rewarding but stressful job in one of the country's largest Animal Shelters. For many years, she travelled Canada in a tiny car, with a large man, a tent, and two chihuahuas. After seeing it all, Atlantic Canada kept drawing her back and in 2018 she escaped city life for good, relocating to beautiful Albert County, NB to pursue photography full-time.
With her bold and vibrant images, Tracy strives to capture the extraordinary beauty of Atlantic Canada and to make the viewer feel like they are right there, sharing the moment with her. Endlessly inspired by the wonders of the vast Canadian wilderness, she hopes her work will encourage others to explore the beauty in their own backyards.
Tracy has achieved her Master of Photographic Arts designation from the Professional Photographers of Canada, and is Accredited in Pictorial/Scenic, Fine Art, Wildlife, Birds, Animals, Animal Portraits, Canine Portraits, Feline Portraits, Equine Photography, Night Photography, Nature Photography, and Image Manipulation.
In addition, her work has been published in books, calendars, and magazines like MacLeans and Canadian Geographic, and has been displayed in galleries including the prestigious McMichael Canadian Art Collection.
She has been proudly serving on the National Board of Directors for Professional Photographers of Canada since 2021, as the Atlantic Director and Communications Chair, and she has held various positions on the PPOC Atlantic Region Board since 2018.
Tracy is also a highly sought-after pet photographer, working in the Greater Moncton Area of New Brunswick. You can see her pet photography work at TracyMunsonPhotography.com
